The Skills Show is a popular annual careers fair that aims to introduce thousands of young people, parents, teachers and employers to vocational training opportunities.

Working with design studio Purpose on the overall creative direction, the challenge was to create an identity enticing and engaging for 14–18 year olds, whilst also credible for adult stakeholders. Central to the design solution is a dynamic ribbon motif, which suggests forward momentum, branching paths and a variety of choices.

A wide colour palette adds vibrancy to the brand and acts as a way-finding solution for different areas at the event. A copywriting system built around 'I am...' focuses on individual aspirations and can be used across staff and guest speaker applications.
